When Joshua and Georgina were referred to my service by one of my associates Peter, I knew we'd need some help from above to get this one through.
They wanted to refinance their loan and increase it to purchase shares. They had two problems, their income type and the value of their home.
Being pastors of a church they get paid a little different to the norm, so my first challenge was finding a lender who'd allow their income to stand, which after 3 hours of research, we found one.
One down, one to go, our second problem was having their property valued at what it was truly worth. In the current climate, lenders are extremely cautious about valuations, so they actually ordered two on Joshua's and Georgina's home.
One of them came in lower than what we needed, the other was spot on, now here's the thing, lenders always take the lower valuation, I had some work to do.
I went back to the lender, giving my opinion on both valuations, doing my best to have the higher one used.
It was touch and go, but we got the green light, and Joshua's and Georgina's loan is now settled.
Now I'm not a religious person, but I like the thought that when the man upstairs wants to get something done for his people, he connects them with the right people for the job.
